MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers stayed with the Central Missouri Jennies for three quarters before falling 67-53 in the Cesar Odio Thanksgiving Classic in the Health & Sports Center on Friday.

SUMMARY:
- 1Q - The first quarter was tied 20-20 with five total ties. The Bucs jumped out 8-2,, but after the Jennies tied it at 12-12, neither team had more than a three-point lead. Barbara Cousino had 11 points for the Bucs, while Ashley Duffy had 10 for the Jennies.
- 2Q - The Bucs built another six-point lead in the second period on a pair of free throws by Elin Ekdahl with 7:24 left at 27-21. But after the Bucs went up 33-30 on a Lexy Schoonover layup at 2:08, the Jennies scored the last five points to take 35-33 lead into the half.
- 3Q - The Bucs had their best period in the third, out-scoring the Jennies 13-12. A jumper by Lauren Seyranian at 3:42 gave the Bucs a 42-37 lead, but the Jennies rebounded to go into the fourth quarter up 47-46.
- 4Q - The wheels came off for the Bucs in the fourth quarter, as they hit just 3-of-13 from the field and got torched for 20 points by the Jennies.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Cousino scored a game-high 20 points, which is also a career high.
- Seyranian added 13 for the Bucs.
- The pair shot 13 of 28. The rest of the team combined for 8-of-31 shooting.
- Duffy led the Jennies with 19 points, while Paige Redmond and Morgan Fleming each had 15.
- The Bucs were without several players, including second-leading scorer Kiara Palmer who averages 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds.
