Valdosta, Ga.—The Barry University women's tennis team earned their seventh win of the season on Sunday afternoon with a 9-0 blanking of Abraham Baldwin.
In singles action, #23
Angie Werschel tooka three-set win from Cunningham, winning 6-2, 3-6, 11-9. #38 Wendling beat Miranda with ease, 6-0, 6-0. Playing at number three, Boguet beat Carter 6-1, 6-0.
In the lower singles flights, Gwizdowski blanked Huett 6-0, 6-0 at number four. Maehama took a 6-1, 6-1 win over Hester at No. 5, while
Lizbeth Vargas kept the Bucs perfect with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Humphrey at number six.
The Bucs return to action on Sunday March 6 when they take on California-Pennsylvania at home.
