BOSTON, Mass.—The Buccaneer rowing team flew north this weekend to compete in the Head of the Charles Regatta and finished 23rd with a time of 19:34.244.

In the event, Barry (Brielle Bowers, Kelly Harrison, Katie Rogers, Renee Forcier, Brianne Misner, Summerlin Knipe, Kelsey Garcia, Courtney Greene Cox: Grace Horwitz) competed against 35 other collegiate women's rowing programs.

At the first checkpoint, the riverside boathouse, the Bucs clocked a 4:26.741. The Weld checkpoint was done at 10:54.348. The finishline, located at the Cambridge Boat Club, was completed in 19:34.244.

The next event for the rowing team is an Oct. 31 tri-meet Miami hosted by Nova Southeastern.
