Anais Foppoli stroked the Varsity 8 boat to a gold medal at the Florida Intercollegiate Rowing Association regatta. The Bucs' Varsity 8 boat crewed by coxswain Angela Dasch, stroke Anais Foppoli, Sara Rus Alba, Virginia Diaz Rivas, Macarena Llano Abascal, Bethany Desmond , Paola Girotto, Ellie Hartman, and bow Mandy Carper started the morning off on a grand note as they won the Women's Varsity 8 race with a time of 06:55.9, finishing 00:03.6 seconds ahead of second-place Jacksonville.
