Valeriya Kozlova became the first player in conference history to be named Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year in the same season. The 6-11 hitter from Russia led the Bucs to a 6-2 month, averaging 5.10 kills per set with a .336 attack percentage and added a team best 21 service aces in 31 sets. She also won three conference Player of the Week awards, giving her five for the season.
