Todd Raasch joined the volleyball coaching staff in June of 2020 as the assistant coach.
Raasch spent the last two seasons at Lincoln Memorial in Tennessee as the assistant coach. He helped guide the Railspitters to a 31-29 mark, including an NCAA Tournament bid in 2018. He came to LMU after a two-year stint as the assistant volleyball coach at California State University-San Marcos, where he was the recruiting coordinator and oversaw on-court training and video analysis for the Cougars. During his first seasons, the Cougars went 27-11 and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament.
Prior to San Marcos, Raasch served as head coach of the men's volleyball program at Johnson & Wales University's Denver campus.
He began his coaching career as an assistant at Graceland before taking an assistant position with the University of Nebraska-Kearney Antelopes' women's team. Raasch helped lead NCAA Division I powerhouse Nebraska to the 1995 NCAA National Championship, before returning to Kearney for four seasons. Following his time in Nebraska, Raasch spent five seasons with Metro State College of Denver.
Raasch also served as the head coach of the women's team at Kenyon College in Grambling, Ohio as well as on the coaching staffs at Florida Atlantic University, Boston College and DePaul University.
Raasch earned his bachelor's degree in physical education and heath from Graceland University in 1992. A native of Wisner, Neb., Raasch competed at Graceland on their then-club team, captaining the squad to two runner-up finishes at the Collegiate Club Nationals. He was a First-Team Club All-American in 1990 and the MVP of the Championships in 1991 as Graceland won the title.
