Tatiana Lopez enters her first year as the social media creative graduate assistant in the fall of 2025 in the Athletics Communication Department at Barry University, after starting as a student photographer in spring of 2021.
Lopez began her journey in sports photography after securing an internship with the Long Island Ducks, a professional minor league baseball team in New York, during the summer before her freshman year of college. That experience solidified her passion for storytelling through visuals and introduced her to the fast-paced environment of professional sports.
Throughout her undergraduate years at Barry, Lopez worked closely with the Athletics Communication Department, covering all sports through photography, videography, and digital content creation. Her work has included capturing live game coverage, producing social media content, and highlighting student-athletes through action shots, team photos, and other promotional materials.
She earned her bachelor of business administration in marketing with a minor in photography from Barry University in May 2025.
Tatiana is currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in sport management and business administration (MBA) at Barry University and continues to expand her creative and strategic skill set within the world of sports media.
