Barry University Athletics

Kate Kenny joined the strength and conditioning staff in the fall of 2024 as a graduate assistant.

Kenny comes from Florida International University where she spent the year working with their strength & conditioning department.She was responsible for the strength & conditioning programs for women’s golf and tennis during her time with the Panthers, during which FIU women's tennis won the Conference USA title in 2024.

She is the strength & conditioning coach for Barry’s women’s golf and beach volleyball teams. She will also bring her experience in athletic rehabilitation and will be working closely with return-to-play athletes.

Kenny graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science in the spring of 2024. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in human performance and kinesiology.
