DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers baseball dropped both ends of their Sunshine State Conference baseball doubleheader to the Embry-Riddle Eagles on Saturday at Sliwa Stadium.

NOTEWORTHY:

  • JD Bryan (3-0) worked six scoreless innings in the opener for the win. He allowed three hits and a walk and struck out six.
  • Isaiah Eberheart went the final three innings on two hits and a walk for his first save.
  • Mason Blocker (0-1) took the loss for Barry, allowing five runs (three earned) on four hits and three walks in 6.1 innings.
  • In the nightcap, Jason Dennis (1-1) earned the win. In five innings, he allowed fou runs (two earned) on four hits and a walk.
  • Tristan Harley worked four scoreless innings, allowing two hits and striking out six for his second save. He set down 12 of the 14 batters he faced.
  • Tralongo went 4-for-7 in the twin bill for the Bucs, with two doubles.

ON THE HORIZON:

The Buccaneers head to the Russ Matt Baseball Classic in central Florida next weekend for four games.
