MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- In the final non-conference game for the Barry women's soccer team, the Flagler Saints came and took a 2-0 win at Buccaneer Field on Wednesday evening.

SUMMARY:
- First Half - It was a scoreless first half that saw the Saints hold possession at a 58-42 margin. Flagler had four shots in the half, two on goal, and keeper Marlen Hernandez saved both. Barry had one shot and it was on frame from the new offensive spark in Dylan Barnes. The Bucs had two set piece opportunities via corner kick, but were unable to convert.
- Second Half - The Saints were able to crack the scoreboard first, finding the back of the net in the first three minutes of the second half. Paige Churchill kicked forward a pass from Avery Raimondo with momentum to dribble into the box past two Buccaneer defenders and get off a low cross shot to the bottom right corner for her eighth goal of the year. Churchill then dumped a short pass to Hannah Hughes at the top of the box, where she took a straight shot to Hernandez, the ball was mishandled through her gloves and rolled into the inside right post. The Buccaneers' offense added more pressure on the attack with seven shots.
NOTEWORTHY:
- The final shot count went 11-8 for the Saints, and it held true for on target as well with a narrow 6-4 advantage.
- The eight shots for Barry came from eight different Buccaneers.
- Both keepers had four saves each.
- Barry had more corner kick opportunities at 5-3.
