Fabian Pronnet won the Division II consolation singles match to cap the end of a three-day Southern Intercollegiate Championships event hosted by the University of Georgia.. He defeated Lipscomb's Philippe Courteau, 6-4, 6-2, Sunday to finish the first fall tournament with a 2-1 record. His lone loss was a three-set blemish to Arkansas' Juan Marino in the opening round.
