MIMIA SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers rallied back from a 28-deficit to take a lead against the 25th-ranked Sailfish of Palm Beach Atlantic, but went cold down the stretch as the visitors walked out with a big Sunshine State Conference men's basketball win 85-76 in the Health & Sports Center on Saturday.

SUMMARY:
- 1H - THe Bucs got off to a rough start as PBA scored the first 15 points of the game. Barry missed its first six shots from the field, including 0-for-5 from three-point range, while the 'Fish were 5-for-5 including three triples. The Sailfish built their biggest lead of 28 points on a dunk by Clay Payne with 2:26 to play. Barry got the lead down to 17 on several occasions, but the Sailfish held a 24-point edge at the break. - 2H - The Bucs battled back in the second half. Down 25 with 16:48 remaining, the Bucs went on a 27-6 run over the next six minutes. Marko Šarenac scored 10 points and Deon Perry added 10 more as Barry cut the lead to just four on a steal and layup by Tarrance Warren with 10:54 to play. Barry took their first lead of the game, 67-65 on a three-pointer from GUi Tesch with 8:05 to play. But after a layup by Perry gave Barry a three-point lead, 71-68, the Sailfish responded with a 15-1 run to go back up by double digits and held on for the win. | PBA 85, Barry 76
NOTEWORTHY:
- Perry led the Bucs with a team-season high of 30 points, with 21 coming in the second half.
- Šarenac chipped in 14 as did Warren.
- Preston Le Gassick led PBA with 25 points.
