Nancy Vergara became the only Buccaneer to win an individual NCAA national championship, capturing the 2013 individual medal. She was also named the Collegiate Women's Sports Awards/Honda Division II Women's Golf Athlete of Year that season A two-time WGCA All-America in 2013 and 2014, she played 101 rounds in 40 career tournaments with a 77.31 stroke average. Her 291 score at the nationals is the school record for 72-round tournaments and her stroke average is 11th in program history. She ranks in the top-10 in program history for rounds (8th), finish percentage (75.8 – 8th) and birdies (166 – 7th). Of her 101 rounds, 86 counted in the team score (85.1).
