A two-time NCAA Division II National Champion, Karla Bersano led the Bucs to titles in both 2001 and 2004. An All-America by three different services in three seasons, she was named to the NCAA All-National Tournament Team twice (one of only two Bucs to do so). The 2001-02 Barry Female Athlete of the Year, she was named All-SSC and All-Region all three years of her career. She ranks in the Top 10 in Barry career history in eight categories including service aces, kills, and points. She also has eight Top 10 marks in single season records. She played on the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) beach volleyball tour for a time and still plays in selected local events. Bersano currently works as the marketing director with Isaac Daniel Group, managing their sponsorship of events such as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (New York), Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim (Miami), Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, BlockChainLive London, Money2020 Vegas, Celebrity Dodge Barrage in NYC and LAAD Defense and Security Conference in Rio, Brazil.
