Jennifer Faccone, who attended Barry from 1988-1992, was a standout on the university’?s first- ever National Championship team of 1989. Faccone scored eight goals, and had five assists as she earned All-American, All-Region and NCAA All-Tournament Team honors in 1988. Faccone was an excellent student, and was selected as an Academic All-American in 1989, 1990 and 1991.
Jennifer finished her career ranked with 20 goals, 17 assists, five game-winning goals and 57 points ? all of which ranked among the school?s top 10 in those categories for several years. An impressive footnote to her career is the fact that Faccone started all 66 games in which she played. Faccone was also a member of the 1989 U.S. Olympic Festival Gold Medal Team.
