- Women's 2nd Varsity 4: 2nd place finish
WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:
"We're really happy with our first 2k race of the year," head coach Nick Johnson said. "The V8 had a good race and is making strides everyday. We scrimmaged FIT during spring break, and the result today is a big improvement over where we were just two weeks ago. Next up will be a very challenging weekend in Sarasota at the FIRA Championship in early April."
"The first V4 boat beat FIT by a lot, which was great to see," assistant coach Martina Vlatkovic said. "The 2V4 boat was a fairly new lineup who raced okay, but we have to do more technical work to make them row together the way we pictured. The change will surely increase our speed going forward in the season."
